Triconex, the Invensys center of excellence for Safety Programmable Logic Technology, has partnered with Westinghouse Rail Signal Limited (another Invensys Company) to enhance our Trident technology for use in their trackside equipment, track switching, and automatic train protection systems.
WRSL is reducing their time to market for the next generation systems by 3-5 years using Triconex technology.
Triconex has been approved by the Chinese Rail Authority CARS and is currently being application tested.
The technology used in the Tricon, and now the Trident, is moving Triconex towards SIL4 type applications such as rail. Interested? Please contact us for more information.
Ship Propulsion
