Independent Diagnostic Monitor
In TriStation 1131 V4.0, the Diagnostic Panel monitor, which displays overall hardware configuration (including chassis or baseplates, main processors, communication modules, and I/O modules) and provides access to diagnostic status or troubleshooting suggestions, can be used without running the full Tristation software suite.
Functional Overview
- TriStation 1131 provides users with a comprehensive set of tools for generating the configuration data required to execute an application in the Triconex TMR Fault Tolerant Controllers.
- The Workbench supports Function Block Diagrams, Ladder Logic Diagrams and Structured Text as defined per the IEC 61131-3 standard.
- With TriStation 1131, users can efficiently create and edit programs and function blocks in the language editor windows using function blocks from the IEC 61131-3 Standard Library or use the TRICONEX Library. The end user can also develop their own libraries and import them to other TriStation projects, or use Triconex standard libraries for compressor surge control, turbine governor control, automatic voltage regulation, burner management, and fire and gas applications.
- The Workbench also provides the Cause and Effect Programming Language Editor (CEMPLE) to support the use of Cause and Effect Matrix methodology.

- TriStation 1131 Workbench is tested thoroughly together with the functionality of the programming languages included in the IEC 6-1311-3 and Triconex Libraries.
- The Workbench is equipped with download facilities that have been certified by TÜV to meet the requirements of safety related communications allowing DOWNLOAD ALL and DOWNLOAD CHANGES to the application program.
- TÜV certification ensures the functionality of systems for critical process applications requiring maximum safety and uninterrupted operation. Therefore it is appropriate for use in processes requiring Functional Safety Category SIL 1 to SIL 3 according to the IEC 61508 standard.
